A co-worker pointed out some nice Flickr photos that just prove that some people have way too much free time. I argued that too much free time would mean stop-motion videos instead.

Blizzard Entertainment today announced many newsworthy items. Among my favorites: the Tauren Marine for StarCraft II and the console port of World of Warcraft (’bout time!). Be sure to check out the trailer for Molten Core there.

Well-known (at least to me, and in the video gaming community, which perhaps means again, that 1% of you … ok, 1% of you BESIDES those who have accounts on the blog you’d reach by tacking /dnd at the end of my URL) gaming blog site Kotaku launched their sister site, Kaketaku. While not everything there is laugh-out-loud funny, some of the work is at least amusing and/or inspiring. Inspiring to what I don’t know, but inspiring.

And something that my more classically-minded (as in music) readers might appreciate (since the rest of those jokes were well over Darkness’ head, although I make no promises on this one either), an essential add-on controller for Guitar Hero II or III.

It’s not quite THE OCHO, but it’s halfway there at least.

I’m not sure which is my favorite. But Wii Sports may be just what it takes to get me to get an iPhone.

If you live and die by Remote Desktop (okay, so that’s probably about 1% of you, if that), this is a sweet hack for Windows XP Pro (works on Media Center Edition too). The hack allows you to have a user on console and (at least) one additional (not sure what the limit is) user on by remote desktop. The implications are astounding. Seriously. Trust me. No, really—I mean it.
